A rare booklet issued to workers living in accommodation provided by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), which was founded as the first government-owned petroleum company in 1971. It provides a short but valuable insight into the domestic spaces of ADNOC's employees at the close of the 1970s.

The text covers the housing administration system, conditions of occupancy, furnishings, insurance and pets. This essential information is then complemented with intentionally humorous line-drawings of a hapless employee enduring various issues with his housing (very much a visualisation of what not to do).
